The Techniplan rail heater unit is used to stress and destress sections of tracks which have been used for long periods of time. When the track has been fastened and track is exposed to cold and hot temperatures the rail will stress over time.

FEATURES
 The Rail  Heater consists of a tractor to provide traction for a controlled work speed, the gas bottle module mounted on the tractor and the rail heater unit. When the machine is heating the rail during the work mode, the operator walks beside the machine. The LPG heater can only be operated when the machine is moving in the forward direction which is with the gas bottle module leading and the heater trailing. During the travel or transportation mode, the heater is raised clear of the track.
